I've been obsessing over Lana del Rey for a time now, there's something about her melancholy combined with her recklessness that appeals to me. She also wears wicked flower crowns. Which appeals to my vapid, more whimsical side. Which seems appropriate.
The following is a super simple DIY for a super simplified version of "The Lana" - now I just need to decide if I have the lady balls to wear it - I guess this weekend at Coachella will be as good a time as any...!
The first step is actually the hardest, and that's removing the blimmin' flower heads off the stems! It takes some wiggling and pulling (this is where the pliers come in!) just make sure to not pull the flower head apart.
Once you have your flower heads, apply glue generously to the bottom, and stick onto the headband, clamping as you go (I used my hair ones!) It's easiest to start with your centre flower and work out.
And voila. Super simple flower crown! (So simple I made two in under ten minutes!)
