When it comes to dressing for Holiday parties, there's one staple we can all rely on, The Little Black Dress, universally flattering, universally appropriate (for the most part) and the easy choice.

Of course all that practicality has to be balanced with something...hence The Very Tall Shoes.

Meet the Public, a pop-up shop produced by Fashion Los Angeles rocked Downtown Los Angeles for two whole weeks this month. Filled to the brim with fashion, jewelry, accessories and art it was not only a Los Angeles design superstore, but the perfect hangout for the Downtown cool kids.

It was a fun (albeit exhausting) project with calls from the locals to move in permanently...will we?! Who knows...watch this space I guess!

Gifted: For Moi

I decided to kick off this years series of holiday gift guides with a decidedly selfish note...what do I want for Christmas....?

It's quite simple really, actually it's not, what I really want, or need rather, is a new laptop, a new camera, perhaps an ipad and a television that isn't intent on crushing my mid century console.

But aside from all of that, a pretty dress and platforms will suffice! The dress to be lacy or perhaps featuring a peter pan collar...(size 8-10/Large please) The platforms, I've been obsessing over the ones pictured above for far too long not to own them by now...(size 8.5 please) These are my simple requests...see what you can do Santa!
