When browsing around on Lookbook.nu, Kristania P, a self described fashion lurker from Toronto immediately caught my eye. A lot of people on Lookbook have fantastic senses of style but their outfits aren’t exactly practical. Lingerie-like dresses and garters are great and all, but sometimes I’m looking for some inspiration that’s more open to more professional environments. Kristania is a great example of someone who rocks great fashion while still being work or family friendly.
One thing I love about her outfits is that she knows proportions inside and out. Looking through her Lookbook, the jackets and skirts hit at all the right places every time. The result is a clean-cut, always flattering look. She knows how to make the clothes work for her rather than working for her clothes.
Another thing I love about Kristania is that she knows how to use prints and graphics. A big fan of thick stripes and softer floral prints, she knows how to mix prints and patterns to keep her outfits interesting but not overwhelming. She mixes bold items with more neutral skirts and jackets to keep the overall look cohesive and cute.
Kristania’s outfits are fun but still well put together and professional, a rare combination that I’d love to see more of! You can see more of Kristania’s outfits here on her Lookbook and for further insight check out her musings on her fun blog, Monochroma.chic.

I agree! It's always nice to see work-appropriate looks, especially since I work in a professional environment the majority of the time. There are only so many "out there" outfits that I can wear in a month, ya know?
Good read! :)
