Avant Garb is a new series for Dedicated. An exploration of the vintage collecting and retail world provoked by our sincere love for all things vintage. Kicking off this series is Sandra Mendoza-Daly of Debutante Clothing, you might remember her from this Dedicated editorial/Stylesmith lookbook, in which we used her fabulous dresses!

The fashion of wearing clothes from past eras quickly picked up momentum as celebrities and women belonging to the cream of society started flocking to high end vintage shops.Some vintage gowns, dresses, sweaters and trousers have been preserved can be found in almost mint condition.
