So again I've been perusing lookbook.nu...and have decided this will become a little feature. Maybe once a week or so I will present my weekly favourite lookbooker...Seriously I spend way too much time skipping through it I may as well share my findings!

So here she is Mouse Maccabee, a 16 year old nostalgic magician/musician from Michigan.

And yes, she uses an alias...damn.

Lily & Jae was founded 3 years ago by wardrobe stylist, Judy Feller, who designs for the prototypical girl next door: energetic, innocent, and playful. The clothes are simple, sweet, and wearable.

LA Happenings: Cupcakes for a Cause at LADY

Lady is one of my favorite LA shopping spots. This little shop is nestled right in the middle of Eagle Rock and carefully curated by owner, Camille De Soto with items new and old that won't break the bank. This is truly a delightful shop where you are guaranteed to find something unique and special with each trip. And most importantly, she carries Every Little Counts! (shameless self promotion!)

But, now onto the event! This Saturday, March 28th from 11am- 6pm, Lady is on a mission to raise money for charity by enticing you with cupcakes, champagne, and discounts!

20% of all merchandise, all day!
10% of all sales will be donated to the leukemia and lymphoma society!

***Cupcakes will be lovingly made and donated by the Lunch Lady (if you don't know about the Lunch Lady, you need to! Fresh, organic, delicious seasonal sandwiches, salads, soups delivered right to you).

What do you think?

I happen to really love this look... the perfect combination of comfortable, classic, chic, a little bit masculine, a little bit feminine. But, is the turban too much? Or does it complete the outfit? It's fun for sure- bold, interesting, a look that can not be ignored. To be honest, I've always had a thing for turbans but I never seem to think I can pull it off. I think, however, if I were to try...it would be an evening look, or maybe part of a vacation ensemble.
